The Industrial Rescue Technician Level is the starting point for employee rescue training. At the completion of this one day training the participant will be able to assist in 90% of the rescue potentials encountered at the worksite. This individual will need to commit to approximately 2 years of training in advanced rigging, including applied rigging physics. The RQP will be authorized to design custom rescue systems that are fully compliant with OSHA regulations.
Additionally, the RQP is capable of fully understanding and operating advanced horizontal rope systems, personal vertical mobility and advanced setups of the TerrAdaptor, including mono-pods, bipods, and various cantilever configurations. The RQP will also meet the requirements for a Lead Instructor for KES rescue classes.
Rescue Qualified Person training will be scheduled throughout the year for KES employees that caters to the availability of the participant.
